The Electric Energy Society of Australia’s EECON 2022 conference last week was a great opportunity for Metrum Sweden AB to get an update on all exciting projects across Australia. It also included positive meetings with both existing and potential customers in Australia and for Metrum to be able to present the latest released monitoring solutions for both Utility, Industry and Renewable power plants.
Some takeaways from Metrum distributor Kinghill, Jonas Lindholm from the EECON conference with its main theme “Our Energy Future – Unlocking Net Zero” were:
– The “Green Transition” is a huge challenge, but we have to start now and not just evaluating and planning different scenarios.
– Relevant technology is already here, what are we waiting for?
– Data will be key to steer us to success in the future, to ensure we are moving in the right direction we must measure all parts of our network 24/7.
