ACES Webinar – can AI enable the future of energy storage?
We are in the midst of a new electrification era, and the need of coordinating power generation, consumption and storage is higher than ever before. In this webinar we will take a look at the ACES project (Adaptive Control of Energy Storage), which has developed a market integrated control system for energy storage that enables stacked revenue streams by AI deployment. arrow_forward
New substation analyzer with fault detection for proactive control of low voltage networks!
Today’s electricity grid is more challenging than ever and not least low – voltage grids where there is a rapid change with expansive installation of photovoltaic systems together with sharply increased power consumption in local parts thanks to more and more electric car charging stations. For the above reasons, Metrum has further developed our previous meter adapted especially for low-voltage networks and substations and is now releasing an updated substation analyzer – Metrum SC (FR). The new substation analyzer is focused on meeting all measurement needs in low voltage networks and includes both fully normal power quality measurement and reporting according to EN 50 160 as well as new measurement algorithms for advanced interference analysis with the ability to detect incipient and intermittent faults in low voltage networks. arrow_forward
New advances in Metrum’s ACES project – overall control system for energy storage!
Metrum is the initiator and leader of the ERA-Net project ACES (Adaptive Control of Energy Storage) where the aim is to use energy storage in a more efficient and economical way to support the modern electricity grid with the help of forecasting and pattern recognition of different types of power quality data. The following film explains in more detail what we and our project partners aim to achieve. ACES project partners arrow_forward
Metrum Sweden AB will participate in the Swedish Mining Initiative for the Chilean mining industry on the 2nd and 3rd of December, together with Business Sweden and other Swedish companies in an online event to show solutions to make the mining sector more productive.
Metrum Sweden AB helps the mining industry be more productive The mining industry are both heavy energy consuming and have a delicate production process. The energy cost is one mayor direct costs for the mining industry. Many mines have also their own generation plants to supply the need of energy. The energy is vital for the production. Metrum Sweden AB offers class A power quality instruments and monitoring system. A power quality instruments and monitoring system. arrow_forward
