We are now launching Metrum Live, a separate measurement service that collects and visualizes high-resolution real-time information from the power grid. Installed power quality meters in the PQX3 series are enhanced with the ability to stream real-time data.
Metrum’s latest instrument series – featuring high instrumentation performance – has arrived and includes real-time visualisation of power grid environments.
In a Vinnova-funded project run by RISE, Metrum has been commissioned to provide an instrumentation system for calibrating power-quality meters for supraharmonics. The new PQX3 series will be used for evaluation and analysis.
In the past, various faults in the facilities’ internal 22 kV grid have caused outages and equipment failures, which is why CSBP chose to invest in Metrum’s PQX3 instrument for monitoring and analysing power quality.
Metrum recently supplied a number of PQX3-FR instruments to Vattenfall’s test facility in Älvkarleby and is now further developing the power-quality instrument protocol (OPC-UA) for data streaming and evaluation of future 5G solutions in the area of station control.
