2025 has already become a milestone year for Metrum in Zambia. With a new order from Zesco Transmission and the largest orders in our history from CEC (Copperbelt Energy Corporation), Zambia is today one of our strongest international markets.
Together, Zesco and CEC are reporting to the Energy Regulation Board (ERB) from the same Metrum system, now covering over 700 measurement points across the country – forming the largest Power Quality system in the region. This creates a unified perspective on Power Quality, strengthening transparency and collaboration across the entire energy sector.
Metrum has been present in Zambia for 14 years, providing not only world-leading Power Quality technology but also training, education, and knowledge sharing. This strong local presence, combined with our advanced third-generation instruments powered by AI and predictive capabilities, secures long-term value for our partners.
