Svenska Kraftnät has previously chosen Metrum’s meters (PQR / PQX3-FR) for installation in hundreds of stations of the swedish power grid (400 kV)
and with Metrum’s measurement and analysis system “METRUM PQMS – PQ CONTROLLER” for continuous analysis of power quality and interference.
The system has previously also been integrated with Svenska Kraftnät’s stations computer concept and energy monitoring system for
continuous control measurement of both energy consumption and power quality.

Metrum participates at different Cigré conferences around the world and recently also participated in Santiago, Chile. The conference program was this time focused on the Distribution grid and had many different topics from new regulations to future system solutions to meet both the regulations such as the rising problems due to increasing amount of renewable energy sources.

Metrum Business Manager for South America, Henrik Tuveson, was one of the speakers presenting the latest monitoring solutions for distribution grid operators including Metrum Power Quality Solutions.

The electric power group at Luleå University of Technology in Skellefteå has done a lot of world-leading research in electricity quality and in related areas. Research is often carried out in collaboration with Swedish companies and results are spread to industrial companies, electricity grid owners and other stakeholders, both in Sweden and the rest of the world.

Sweden is a partner country to Hannover Messe 2019 and have a huge energy pavilion. Exhibition and many seminars from cutting edge companies and the Sweden Minister of Energy and Digital Development is attending as well.
