Metrum selected as partner in academic collaboration with Universidad Nacional de Colombia and Royal Institute of Technology KTH of Sweden

Metrum Sweden AB have started collaboration to share knowhow in smart grids and artificial intelligence together with the academic partners Universidad Nacional de Colombia and Royal Institute of Technology KTH of Sweden.
The aim is to start academic collaboration and show the commercial sector the ongoing investigations and commercial existing applications for smart grids and use of AI for secure energy supply, introduction of renewable energy, energy efficiency, preventive maintenance.

 

Colbún Transmision SA have selected Metrum Sweden AB to provide Power Quality Measurement System (PQMS) in strategic points of its transmission network

Colbún Transmisión S.A. is a Chilean power transmission company fully owned by Colbún S.A.
Colbún Tranmisión S.A. owns 940 kms of transmission lines and 28 substations. Colbún S.A. has a total installed capacity of 3,9 GW in Chile and Perú.
The project will investigate how huge end consumer affects the national transmission grid. Metrum will supply the high-end multi-instrument PQX3-FR and Power Quality Measurement System (PQMS). The PQMS will monitoring the grid and detect the health of the system enabling preventive maintenance.

Metrum selected in large international tender as supplier of PQMS to ADANI ELECTRICITY in India!

Metrum has recently won a large international tender of Power Quality Monitoring System to ADANI ELECTRICITY in India.
The Adani Group is a globally integrated infrastructure player with business spanning across key industry verticals of resources, logistics, energy and agro. Adani Electricity Mumbai Limited (AEML) is a 100% subsidiary of Adani Transmission Ltd formed post acquisition of Reliance Infrastructure Limited’s integrated Generation, Transmission and Distribution utilities powering Mumbai city. Distribution network spans over 400 square kilometres catering to the electricity needs of over 2.9 million customers today.

Metrum expands the development and sales team and welcomes Ia Almström as new SW Team Lead and Johan Stenfeldt as new Technical Sales Representative on the Swedish market!

During 2019, Metrum has experienced great growth in the Nordic countries and Sweden and have, a head of 2020, expanded the sales team with Johan Stenfeldt,who has taken up a new position as a technical sales representive. Johan will focus mainly on sales in the Southern & Western parts of Sweden and work closely with Peter Bratt (Sales Manager Nordic) and Amrish Kubavat (KAM / Industry).

The minister of energy in Uganda highlights Metrum Sweden AB in the MOU signed between Sweden and Uganda.

Metrum has been working closely with the distribution company UMEME to ensure security of supply with focus on reducing energy losses. Now Sweden and Ugandan have signed an MOU taking our business to another level.
The minister of energy Irene Mukoni says: “Newer companies like Metrum who are in the business of ensuring efficiency within the grid network show that the focus of Sweden’s businesses is still strongly centered around reliability and efficiency, which Uganda can greatly benefit from”
