In 2021, Hitachi Energy and Metrum began a development collaboration to find solutions to problems with power quality linked to a larger share of renewable energy production and charging of electric vehicles.
Expertise and solutions from the two companies are now combined and the goal of the collaboration is to be able to offer accurate and reliable solutions to the market.
“The demand for reliable Power Quality monitoring systems that enable a more dynamic balance in the electricity grid is increasing,” says Robert Olofsson, CEO of Metrum. “With new knowledge from our measurements, Hitachi Energy can find out the most cost-effective and flexible solutions that solve quality problems in the electricity grid. I strongly believe in our cooperation.”
